There are many discussions about using cocoa butter stretch marks cure.
These marks are often cause by the rapid stretching of the skin associated with rapid growth (common in puberty) or weight gain (i.e. Pregnancy or muscle building). They may also be influenced by hormonal changes associated with puberty, pregnancy, muscle building etc…
- Although the skin is usually fairly elastic, when it is overstretched, the normal production of the major protein that makes up the connective tissue in your skin is disrupted.
- Collagen and elastic keep the skin in place. As soon as skin starts stretching, collagen production is disrupted which results in red stretch marks on the outer surface of the skin.
- They are actually linear scars, which affect a thin layer of the skin and are the consequence of a rapid stretching of the skin.
- Syndrome Hormonal disorder that affects the whole body. This hormonal disorder causes weakening the skin, which is subject to stretch marks
- Other names for stretch marks are striae distensae, striae atrophicans, striae rubra (which are red) and striae alba (white).
Stretch marks can be removed

- Laser treatment or surgery.
- Some have even visited mayo clinic, to effectively heal the appearance of skin scars.
- Cocoa butter is useful because it can penetrate the top layer of the skin, and it can reach down to the dermis (second layer). This inside to the outside repair mechanism is effective. It is natural and safe and people who use it don’t have to worry about the side effects

Hi,
I like your “What Causes Stretch Marks ?” article. It’s very informative.
Stretch marks are one of the top five causes of insecurity for women. Known medically as striae, stretch marks are a type of scarring in the skin that is clearly as off-color bands, stripes, or lines.
Stretch Marks Cream helps you prevent their formation. It is best to use them through the early stages of pregnancy or when you are trying to conceive. But it’s never too late to start and you will see significant improvements even on already existing stretch marks. Stretch marks are unnecessary. Motherhood doesn’t signify you have to give up looking nice.

Good information – one thing to be aware of is that going up more than a cup size in breast enlargements can often cause stretch marks to appear. Good surgeons have plans to manage this – you might go up a smaller size than you initially planned, and when your skin has grown and adjusted to the new size, go up another cup size. It is also preferable for women to undergo laser surgery for stretch marks before they have an augmentation done – it just simplifies the process. Implants can accentuate the appearance of stretch marks, lifting them to prominence, so these two surgeries are frequently done in a short timeframe.

I lift weights quite a bit and I use to get stretchmarks on pecs and glutes. But shea butter with vitamin A and E really helped diminish their appearance. Vitamin A and E helps collagen regeneration and the shea butter helps speed up the process because it increases blood flow to the area.

Thanks for providing such detailed information on stretch marks. Majority of women suffer from ugly stretch marks and your article is really useful for all of them. I am surprised to hear that depression has a strong impact on the appearance of stretch marks. I have also heard that it is essential that we consume healthy diet and a consistent exercise program should also be added to our routine in order to prevent stretch marks.
